Over the last few weeks, I have finally started working on my pictures from our trip last summer. My dad actually trusted me enough to let me borrow his professional Nikon camera. And since we took over 400 pictures, we were a little hesitant in printing them off. So we got them on CD, so I've been able to play with some of them on Photoshop. The ones I've posted are my favorites.

Happy Valentines Day Circus!!!

Ok, well first of all I just want to let all of you know of the injustice in pricing at the circus. The thing I was MOST excited about doing at the circus was getting authentic cotton candy. I honestly had been drooling over the thought of it for a month. So we get there, after the drama of checking the stroller, carrying the car seat down a gazillion steep stairs, squeezing ourselves and that huge car seat through a narrow row already full of people, just to decide there was no place for the car seat, and for Jon to go back and check it with the stroller. This all went on as the circus had already started. I'm sure the people in our row wanted to kill us. Anyhow, I finally ran up to get some cotton candy, only to find out it was 12 freaking dollars!!! TWELVE!! And my cheap nature wouldn't let me do it. So I settled for a $4.00 preztel instead. Such a disappointment. But besides the cotton candy let down, the circus was a huge hit. We saw tigers and elephants and people being shot out of a canon. It was another successfull Valentines Day!!

10 Years Ago: I was getting ready to turn 14, and SO ready to party hard at the church youth dances. I thought I was so cool officially being a teenager, and was still trying to get the idea of how lip liner worked. I was in love with JTT (Jonathan Taylor Thomas of course) and Prince William, and was sure it was just a matter to time before one of them found me. I spent a good part of my time singing along with Mariah Carey, sure I was the next big thing and just kept waiting to be discovered....hmmmm still waiting.

On My To-Do List: dry cleaners, groceries, dr. appointments, ... all this darn grown-up stuff.

5 places that I've lived: Social Circle, Conyers, Grayson (yeah apparently I like GA), Provo UT, Destin Florida.

5 jobs I have had: Smoothie King, Day camp counselor, telemarketer (terrible I know, but college kids get desperate) patient care tech and unit clerk at Rockdale Medical Center, and workin' for the ol' padres at Insurance Associates of Georgia.

What I would do if I became a billionaire: I would spend half the year at my private villa in Figi watching my diamonds and emeralds sparkle in the sun while getting a full body massage and listening to steal drums and maracas. The rest of the year I would spend traveling around the world in my private jet, stopping occasionally for lunch with my good friend Oprah and my personal training sessions with Chuck Norris.

Bad habits: waiting until the very last second to put gas in my car, letting the laundry pile up, and never being able to make decisions without someone else's opinion

Things I enjoy: sunny days, traveling, I Love Lucy re-runs, exercising, anything to do with weddings, cookie dough, really this could go on forever.

Things people don't know about me: I watch Saved By the Bell re-runs every morning while I eat breakfast, I still rock out to the Spice Girls "wannabe", Bill Cosby is one of favorite people, I'm terrified of bicycles, my dream job is to be a wedding planner for the rich and famous and I have a weird obsession with e-bay.

3 months old!

Jack is 3 months old now, and is becoming more aware and alert of his surroundings. So we've started giving him little toys that jingle, and I'll look back at him in his car seat and he'll just be chatting away and smiling at his bugs. The yellow one is his favorite for some reason. He smiles all the time, but hasn't quite made it to laughing yet. But we're getting close!


















We put him next to his Baby Einstien crib toy yesterday, and he was transfixed for like an hour. I have to admit that it is pretty cool. Jon and I sat there and tried to figure out how they get the fish to move like that for quite a while. Hooray for other things entertaining my child!!
