snow day

Our little house experienced her first snow this past week. Jon was SO excited both times and went out Saturday to "explore" and ended up sleding down our back slop, building a snow man, and hitting golf balls out of our backyard into the new housing development going up behind us.

American Idol 7

So once again my life is being taken over by another fabulous season of American Idol. My poor husband has to sit in the background, attempting to study for the LSAT while I'm screaming "HE CANT BE SERIOUS", or "whoa honey you should NOT be wearing that". There is an occasional, "wow that was good" which is what makes the show worth while.

p.s. We totally think the girl who auditioned last last night is LDS. :)

Jon suprised me for our FOUR year anniversary, and took me back to the Westin. We had little Jack in tow of course, but it was still a wonderfully romantic getaway. The next day we went and checked out the new Coke-a-Cola museum which was pretty darn cool. I could go another 5 years without having another sip of Coke though I'll tell ya that.

This was at Stacy and Spencer's infamous New Year's Eve party. The bonfire behind us was used for warmth and light....and for exploding cans of various vegetables, fireworks, smoke bombs and whatever else people felt like throwing in there. Lucky we had a real life fireman near by to supervise. :)

All the happenings of the Christmas Holiday!


Jack was blessed by his daddy on December 23. His blessing outfit was made by my mom out of her wedding dress. And he was wrapped in a white knit blanket that was used to wrap Jon and his brothers on their blessing days. Pretty darn cool!
